The chicks are pretty healthy. I lost track of Veruca Salt! She had a speckeled foot but apparently it was just 2 cuts and they have healed and now I have NO idea WHAT SO EVER where the heck or who the heck she is.

Me and my BFF Angela went out in my woods yesterday. We basically carved hi and our names on about 10 trees. Then I just started poking holes in one! :)

I am trying really hard to earn money because I want to buy some really cool wooded land! If I buy the land that is closest it will cost 1.2 million dollars! If I buy the land farthest it will only be 200 thousand dollars.

I am probably going to make a lot of cool stuff and then sell it on Ebay for some ridiculous price.
I also want to sell some flowers and veggies in the farmers market. Flowers would have to be like PERFECT so maybe just some fresh eggs and veggies.

Well,
Ciao for now!

The zoo was awesome! I was sick on Easter though and that was not FUN! But now I am in tip top shape. I think.

Tomorrow I might be going to the zoo. I want to see the new baby elephant. I also want to adopt a poison dart frog, but I don't get really enough money to properly feed it.

I want to try to take really awesome pictures with my dad's camera. I LOVE taking pictures with dad's camera. He has a really big one. It is awesome!

I want to see the elephants. The penguins are also fun to look at. I guess I would really like to see all the animals possible!

I really hope that I can go tomorrow.

Well, adios for now!

Chickens

I just got chicks. They are really healthy now and are pretty much adjusted to their new home. They currently live in an old rabbit hutch. It makes a very nice chicken coop.

My little cousin came over and named one of the chicks Veruca Salt, after the little snob on Charlie and the Chocolate factory, or, her favorite character.

The chicks will not lay eggs for a while. 6 months. But then I will be able to enjoy some nice eggs in the fall and maybe partially in the winter. These type of chickens lay 300 eggs a year! When they molt, they will stop laying eggs.

Two chicks are going to the fair. Veruca Salt, and the other one will be decided closer to the time of the fair.

Well, bye bye bye for know! :)

The Tale of Despereaux

Dear People,

I have read a book called 'The Tale of Despereaux' (Des-per-oe).

It is written by Kate DiCamillo. She is one of my favorite authors. She has won a John Newberry Medal award. It is one of my favorite books and it is the #1 National Best Seller.

It's about a mouse that was born with his eyes open. But you'll have to read the book to find out the rest.

However I will tell you that Despereaux is a French name for sadness. You'll have to read the book to find out why his mother named him this. I loved the book and I know you will too!
